About the Event

Want to get stronger, faster and avoid injuries? Then strength and conditioning is key!

It is especially important for women. We are much more vulnerable to losing muscle mass and bone density as our hormones change as we get older, which as well as impacting performance, can impact our quality of life, so the sooner we get working on it, the better!

Lucy from Feel Fit with Lucy is a triathlon coach and personal trainer, specialising in S&C for endurance athletes. She runs a weekly online class for runners and triathletes (see https://www.feelfitwithlucy.co.uk/clubfeelfit) and will be running a special taster version of the class for the Fund Her Tri UK community on Mon 27th Nov at 6pm. It will include mobility, stability, strength, balance and (low level) plyometrics.

For those who want to do more sessions, she'll be offering a discount for her weekly classes following this session.

What you'll need:

- some space (at least yoga mat sized) where you won't fall / things won't fall on you

- a laptop with Zoom installed (you need to be able to see the screen and Lucy needs to see you so phones don't really work, if that's all you have then make sure you can position the phone so you are visible)

- a stable chair

- if you have them (but don't worry if you don't): a thigh band (or tie a theraband/ cut the head off a spare swim cap), step (or a book or something to stand on), weights

To book - go to https://www.feelfitwithlucy.co.uk/service-page/fht-coached-s-c-for-triathletes

Click "Book Now" and select the 27th to bring up the class.

Spaces are limited so book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!

Please note the class is suitable for all levels, but if you have specific injuries/health conditions, please check with a medical professional if there's anything you should avoid and join the class a few mins early to let Lucy know the details.
