HOW WE WORK WITH THE INDUSTRY

TRIATHLON EVENTS & BRAND PARTNERSHIPS

Fund her tri uk event

Introducing private changing tents at London T100 enabled over 40 Muslim women to take part in the race and created a ripple effect, benefiting anyone who needed a private space to change.

We collaborate with race organisers and brands committed to increasing gender diversity in triathlon. From implementing female-friendly policies to improving race experiences, our partnerships help create real change.

How We Support Triathlon Events:

  • Supporting race organisers to increase participation from underrepresented groups.

  • Advising on realistic cut-off times and race structures.

  • Advocating for female-focused policies (e.g. female toilets, period products, wider range of swim caps, changing facilities for athletes who require this due to faith or comfort purposes).

  • Providing expert insights on inclusive imagery, accessibility, and community engagement.

INDUSTRY ADVOCACY

We work directly with British Triathlon and other industry bodies to influence policy at a national level.

Our advocacy has included submitting a response to Parliament on the need for greater investment in grassroots sport, as well as consulting on working groups that address gender diversity, accessibility, and athlete support.

By bringing these issues to the forefront, we ensure that decision-makers prioritise a more inclusive future for triathlon.

Our advocacy is backed by research and data to drive systemic change. In collaboration with She Races, we co-authored a report capturing the experiences of 900+ women in triathlon, highlighting the barriers they face and the changes needed to make races more inclusive.

This research provides essential insights for race organisers and governing bodies, shaping policies that better support women in the sport.
